It has been a custom with The Detroit Jew-
ish Chronicle to issue a special souvenir edi-
tion in commemoration of the Jewish New
Year.

welcomed by the community as a worthy con-

mation, of vital interest to every Jew in
Detroit.

The efforts of the most prominent figures
in world Jewry are combined to make the con-
tents of this issue of great value to our readers.

A resume of the important events of the
past year, a resume of Jews in sports in 1927-
1928, short stories, important correspondence
from abroad and numerous other valuable
features are among the contributions to ap-
pear in this issue.
