troit Real Estate Board to perfect
its group plan.
Announcement of Mr. Nathan's
agreement to undertake the work
was made at a recent meeting'of
the subdividers, at which the new
executive addressed the realtors.
It is anticipated this organization
work and the direction of the
group will cover a period of sev-
eral months.
Mr. Nathan has participated in
the organization or reorganization
of a number of Detroit bodies,
among them the Detroit Stock Ex-
change, the Better Business Bu-
reau, the Detroit Board of Com-
merce, the Hebrew Free Loan As-
sociation, and a number of other
communal and social agencies.

PETER ROSEN
aged 31 years, of Pontiac, Mich.,
passed away on June 12, after an
illness of one year. Burial took
place at Clover hill Cemetery
June 15. Ile was the beloved hus-
band of Betty, son of Mr. and Mrs.

was held on Monday afternoon,
June 18, at the Synagogue, corner

meeting was opened with a Bible
reading by Sirs. Harry Levin, af-
ter which the president, Mrs. Eli
Sachse, greeted the members and

picnic to he held on Tuesday, June

and that all who wish to go on the
bus should be there on time.
Mrs. Ralph l'aul, vice-chairman,
announced that many interesting
contests, stunts, and games are be-
ing arranged, and there will be
plenty of prizes for the grown ups
and the youngsters. All members
are invited to come and bring their
friends. A banner with the sister-
hood name will he posted on the
main highway past the casino, so
that the meeting place will he easy
to find.

SUIT AGAINST ARABS

TEL AVIV.—(J. T. A.) — The
American Zion Commonwealth,
founder of the American Jewish
colony Ilerzliah, won its case
against 13 Arabs of the Abukan-
dil tribe.
The Arabs had refused to leave
land on which they were living: in
the Ilerzliah colony, claiming that
they held it under an agreement.
The court ordered the trabs to
leave the property.
