Bank of Detroit, announced today
that the Detroit institution would
send a representative delegation
of bankers to the ninth annual
meeting of the Morris Plan Bank-
ers' Association to be held in Rich-
mond, Va., ()et. 9, 9, 10. Dele-
gates, who will come from 127 of
the leading cities in the Unite]
States, will be housed at the Jef-
ferson Hotel.
Thomas C. Boushall, president
of the Morris Plan Bank of Rich-
mond, is general convention chair-
man.
The first Morris Plan Bans was
organized in Norfolk, Va., in 1910.
Today banks and companies oiler-
sting this plan of finance function
in many cities, with combined re-
sources exceeding $160,000,000.
Since their organization, Mor-
ris Plan Banks have loaned over
a billion dollars to men and women
in all walks of life. Loans aro
made for average requirements at
reasonable rates, with character
and earning power as the basis of
credit, and repayments are ar-
ranged to it the borrower's in-
come.

cation that it has repeated its Lon-
don, New York and Chicago tri-
umphs in Detroit.
