Palestine Continues To
Abound in Miracles

Only ten years after the issuance
of the Balfour Declaration and the
opening of the doors of Palestine to
Jewish immigration, a Jewish popu-
lation of 160,000 in the Land of
Israel attests to a great accomplish-
ment.
The truly religious, in weighing
the facts accompanying the brief
period of Jewish colonization work
would undoubtedly say:
A MIRACLE!
This miracle was made possible
by the contributions of American
Jewry. The Jews of Detroit played
their part. In nine annual cam-
paigns since the recognition of
Jewry's historic claims to Palestine
by the nations of the world, Detroit
has done nobly and admirably in re-
sponding to the call for the upbuild-
ing of the Jewish Homeland. For
this reason, if for no other, our re-
sponse this year must be equally as
noble. Else the structure we helped
build may be impaired, even if the
lion-hearted pioneers will pre vent it
from crumbling.
To be listed among the pioneers
in the great task of Palestine's up-
building, you must respond unfail-
ingly to the call of the United Pales-
tine Appeal, whose quota for 1928 in
Detroit is $110,000.
BY GIVING TO THIS FUND TO-
DAY YOU WILL HELP TO BUILD
FOREVER.

If, by any chance, your child will
be eligible by age and grade for
confirmation in 1929 but has not
been attending this class, you
