Should Be Done
By EXPERTS
The proper cleaning of Oriental
and domestic rugs is a scientific
matter.
All the deeply embedded dirt
and grit—perhaps a year's ac-
cumulation—often invisible to
the naked eye and unreachable
by any carpet cleaner, must be
carefully removed without
harming the rug.
in Shape
and997,of other cigarettes rand .
Skilled men, experts in the business, men
who learned the art of rug cleaning in the
far countries of the Orient, are employed to
do the work. In addition, the most scientific
methods and machinery are used.
The Leader method will make your rug
look new. It will help to preserve it, en-
abling it to give many years of added wear.

The stove is a scene in one of Hadassah's health clinics in Palestine. Emaciated women are here
treated and taught better and healthier modes of liv'ng. But what is more important, they are instructed
in the most modern methods of caring for their chiciren. It •i •s a result of Hadass•h's efforts that ■
healthy and strong rsce of Jews is being raised in Palestine.
Hadassah's program is supported with funds of the United Palestine Appeal.. The Detroit campaign

FOREST CLEANERS
NOT INVOLVED IN
WAR AMONG DYERS
The cleaners' and dyers' war,
news of which occupied so much
space on the front pages of the
daily newspapers the past week, in
no way affects the Forest Cleaners
and Dyers, who maintain their
plant at 533 to 547 East Forest
avenue.
In an interview', Ben Simons,
one of the proprietors, stated:
"We do not do any work for neigh-
borhood tailors or neighborhood
cleaners. Our trade is confined
directly to the home and apart-
ments only, and in no way con-
flicts or connects up with the dis-
pute now waging among so-called
wholesale cleaners and dyers.
"I want to emphasize to sissr•
customers and prosr _ctive cus-
tomers who wish to avail them-
selves of the Forest Service, that
they can do so without fear, 1
trust this will correct any erron-
eous impressions as to our posi-
tion in this controversy. I might
also add that every garment that
is sent to the Forest Cleaners is
insured until it reaches the own-
Pas
ning a success.
