I. Goldreich, driector of the Mi-
Inky Textile "Haereg" Co. of
Haifa, Palestine, now on a brief
visit to Detroit, in the course of
an American tour, this week em-
phasized the need for industrial en-
terprises in Palesitne.
Mr. Golreich pointed to the ex-
cess of imports to exports of goods
in Palestine, and declared that the
situation can best be remedied by
the establishment of factories in
Palestine,and by encouraging those
now in existence.
Such effort, Mr. Goldreich de-
clared, will limit imports to the
bringing into the land of raw ma-
terials and may eventually entirely
eliminate importation of numerous
articles.
At the same time, he said, work
will be created for the Jewish pio-
neers in Palestine and added op-
portunities encouraged for other
Chalutzim.
The Mifalay Textile "Haereg"
