WARSAW.—(J. T. A.) —The
anti-Jewish r xcessea in Lemberg,
which accompanied the results of
the parliamentary elections where-

are Jewish, lasted for three days.
A delegation of Jewish students
was received Thursday by the dean
of the University of Lemberg in
connection with the events. The
dean told the delegation that he
considers the three day excesses
"unworthy of Polish students" and
promised his assistance to check
further outbreaks.
The Gloz Prawdy, the organ of
the Pilsudski government, writes
that in case the riots will recur the
government will declare martial

to etta•k Jewish passersby and

end shops. The attack an the Jew-

severe. The police then took dras-

rioters.
A group of progressive Polish
students published a statement pro-
testing- against the riots.
The Ghat Prawdy, in an article.
rondemning the Lemberg riots and
the methods of the anti-Semitic stu-
dents, declared that "Poland can-
not tolerate militant methods mod-

llungary."
Election Campaigners Released.
Three Polish Zionists who were
members of the election committee
of the national minorities bloc in
Donna were released from prison
following the conclusion of the
elections.
The three, Brick, Eisenberg and
Reline, were arrested on the charge
of espionage, in connection with
their activities in behalf of the mi-
norities bloc. The released prison-
ers declared they will start proceed-
ings against the authorities for
damages.
Dymowski Collapses.
Tadeusz Dymowski, notorious
Polish anti-Semitic leader, former
member of parliament and director
of the anti-Jewish boycott organi-

prison cell when he was informed
that he had not been re-elected to
the Seim.
Dymouski, against whom charges
of fraud and swindle acre formu-

ties in the boycott organization,
was imprisoned several months ago.
His friends included him in the list
of their party for parliamentary
election in the hope that his election
would secure him immunity from
the courts. He was transferred to
the prison hospital.

There is, he stated, an over-produc-

Simultaneously, however, the
Regent appealed to the Trasant

education of their sons and daugh-

schools, but rather see to it that
the gifted sons of the village obtain
a university education. "We need
the unadulterated, reliable patriot-

In an after dinner speech deliv-
