The children of the Ilebrew Or-
phan Home were given a delight-
ful party last Sunday afternoon
by the philanthropic committee of
the Music Study Club of Detroit.
The program consisted of cello se-
lections by Jack Raskin, vocal so-
los by Mrs. David Kallmon, dance
numbers by the pupils of Miss
Katherine Pereira and recitations
by Miss Dorothy Magidsohn and
Miss Trigg. Mrs. J. A. Seltzer,
assisted by Mrs. Benjamin Pearl-
man, were in charge of arrange-
ments for the day.
On the afternoon of Jan. 18 the
philanthropic committee will give
a party at the Detroit Tubercu-
losis Sanatorium. The following
program has been planned: vocal
solos by Mrs. 11. Greenberg, piano
selections by Mrs. S. Simon, read-
ings by Mrs. Oscar Blumberg and
