Yelehd.
The Ozur Yelehd met Thursday,
Dec. 22, and carried out a most
interesting program. Mrs. II. II.
Prenzlnuer, president of the D v.
troit Jewish Infants and Orphans
Home, was the speaker of the eve-
ning. She spoke of the good work
the Ozur Yelehd could accomplish
and told of the need of the Or-
phans Home. The name of the or-
ganization, Ozur Yelehd (Help a
Child) she said, "is an appropriate
one indeed." Mrs. Prenzlauer was
the first of a series of speakers
planned for each meeting.
Tickets for the bridge to be
given Jan. 10 at the Jericho Tem-
ple were distributed. Miss Rose
Sternberg, on the bridge commit.
tee, announced that elaborate
plans had been made and urged
that all efforts be made to sell
tickets.
Entertainment then followed.
Max Leibowitz pleased everybody
with his violin and Ray Berger
sang several delightful numbers.

The second triumphant week of
the limited engagement of the
sparkling collegiate musical com-

evening at the Cass Theater, De-

The various critics of the De-

the fastest, snappiest, funniest

Abe Lyman and his famous or-

such song hits as "The Varsity
