On Sunday, Dec. 25, there will he a children's Chanukah concert at the Children's Theater of the Um- partayishe Folkshul. For weeks the children have been preparing for this event. The story of Chanu- kah has been taught them, its his- torical significance, the legends and traditions that have been created about it; they read all the Jewish literature in which the holiday is described. After that the children planned a Chanukah play, and with the help of their teachers composed a fan- tasy, in which the story is told in song and dances, such as the "Dra- idl Dance," the "Chanukah Gelt Dance," the "Latices Dance," and the dance of the Chanukah Licht- Inch.
