IN POSTER CONTEST

Esther Joffe, one of the yongest
pupils of the Jewish Center Art
School, W115 one of the prize win-
ners in the poster contest which
was held by the Fine Arts Depart-
ment of the Federation of Worn-
en's Clubs, in connecton with the
annual exhibition of student art
which is to be held in January at
the J. L. Hudson Company audi-
torium. Miss Joffe won honorable
mention.
Students from the art classes of
the Detroit School of Commercial
Art, Detroit School of Applied
Design, the Jewish Center, the
Recreation Commission and the
parochial schools competed. Over
SO posters were submitted.
Miss Joffe is a student of Mrs.
David B. Werbe, who is chairman
of the Jewish Center Art School.
