A.)-The case of nine Constanti-
nople Jews arrested by the Turk-
ish police on the charge of possess-
ing arms and directing the mani-
festation of a group of Jewish resi-
dents at the funeral of the Jew-
ish girl, Elsa Niego, who was mur-
dered by the Turkish (Alicia], Os-
Man liey, several weeks ago was
held in the Constantinople court.
The police were unable to pro-
duce any evidence against the pris-
oners. Witnesses denied the charge
of the police that the arrested were

which is evidently collapsing, was
