SEEKS MEMBERS

The Detroit Retail Dry Goods
Merchants association, which was
formed last May by a group of
men who have the best interests of
the trade at heart, is conducting a
drive for new members. There are,
at present, more than 40 members,
all of whom take an active part in
the affairs of the organization. The
office of the executive secretary,
Louis lialantzow, is located at 1016-
18 I'enobscot building.
The officers of the association
are: I. Margolis, president; S. Bal-
antzow, vice-president; Sol Gold-
berg, treasurer; Louis Balantzow,
secretary; II. Sparaga is a member
of the board of directors.

JOHN KITNER
John Kitner, aged 67, passed
away on Aug. 15 at his residence.
His wife, Mrs. Ida Kitner, sur-
vives. Burial took place at West-
wood Cemetery, with Rabbi Stoll-
man officiating.

MISS TILDA FREEDMAN
Miss Tibia Freedman, aged 25,
passed away suddenly at Port Clin-
ton, Ohio, on Aug. 14. Surviving
are two sisters, Mrs. David Stein
and Mrs. Samuel Stein, and two

Dr. Morris Schwartz, aged 38,
