MILLER-ASHINSKY
One of the most beautiful and
impressive wedding ceremonies of
the season took glare on Wednes-
day evening at the Congregation
Emanuel, Taylor and Wilson ave-
nue, when Miss Florence Ashinsky,
daughter of Rabbi and Mrs. A. M.
Ashinsky of Taylor avenue became
the bride of Rabbi Irving Miller
of Youngstown, Ohio, son of Rab-
bi and Airs. A. Stiller of Brooklyn,
N. I. The ceremony was performed
jointly by Rabbis Ashinsky and
Miller, parents of the bridal cou-
ple, and also Rabbi Nachman H.
Elm! of Brooklyn, N. Y., who is a
son-in-law of Rabbi Ashinsky •
Cantor L. Rugman of the ( ongre-
gation Emanuel assisted by Mr.
Scholnick led the choir in the chant-
ing of the ceremony.
The bride was very charming in
a white duchess satin gown, Vion_
net model and her veil was of cap
shape and kept in place with or-
ange blossoms. She carried a Bible
with ribbon streamers showered
with lilies-of-the-valley.
Mrs. N. H. Ebin of Brooklyn, N.
Y., was matron of honor and car-
ried a shower bouquet of Coolidge
roses, larkspur, and lilies-of-the-
valley. Miss Esther Hadassah
Ashinsky, sister of the bride was
maid of honor and the Misses Du-
dish Ashinsky, sister of the bride,
Eva Miller of Brooklyn, N. Y., sis-
ter of the groom, Freda Ebin of
Brooklyn, N. Y., a niece of the
bride, Ruth Rosenthal, cousin of
the bride, and Isabelle Perlow of
Pittsburgh were bridesmaids, and
all carried madam butterfly roses
and gypheile.
Dr. Nathan Ashinsky of Pitts-
burgh, brother of the brisk, assist-
ed the groom as best man, and the
ushers included Rabbi Harold ROs-
enthal. Philip Ashinsky, Jacob J.
Rosenthal, cousins of the bride,
Harold Galomb and Abraham Gold-
man of Youngstown, Ohio.
The bride graduated this month
from the University of Pittsburgh.
The groom is a graduate of the
Rabbi Isaac Elchonan Theological
Seminary of New York.
