ROUMANIA SEEKS
$50,000,000 LOAN
NEW YORK.—(J. T. A.)—The
Roumanian government will soon
seek an American loan of $50,-
000,000, reports circulating in
Wall street state. Negotiations
for the floating of the loan have
not progressed materially, but it
was learned that steps to secure
the loan will be taken by repre-
sentatives of the Roumanian gov-
ernment after the $50 000,000
loan sought in Germany is ob-
tained.
The German loan is now being
negotiated. The terms are said to
be $10,000,000 in each and $40,-
000,000 in credit, with the provi-
sion that Roumania renounces all
war claims against Germany. This
condition has not been accepted,
but it is believed that an arrange.
