of that chapter, therefore he is dis-
playing a keen interest in the local
chapter.
The chapter will hold an open
meeting at the Fenkell Branch of the
Temple Beth El, at Fenkell and Dex-
ter, on Thursday evening, May 5. At
this occasion Mr. Linn, the Western
representative of the L. G. Balfour
Company of Attleboro, Mass., the of-
ficial jewelers of the fraternity, will
display his line of fraternity jewelry
and other jewelry, principally gifts,
favors, etc. This will be an excel-
lent opportunity for the local fra-
ternities to get an idea of the differ-
ent lines of fraternity and sorority
jewelry. As there will be no fee for
admission and as there will be danc-
ing and other entertainment follow-
ing, the chapter expects a large
crowd. Everybody is welcome to this
affair.
The chapter has also organized a
new committee, that of general wel-
fare. This includes help to all the
local charitable organizations and our
fullest co-operation in any of the so-
cial and charitable movements. For
any information please correspond
with Albert Tucker, chairman of this
committee.
The house committee is scouting
for a fraternity house in the vicinity
of Twelfth street. If anyone has any-
thing to offer or any proposition,
please communicate with the com-
mittee chairman, Max Klayman.
