NEW Yt)11K.—More than :MO dele-

will attend the fifteenth annual cno-
vention of the United Synagogue of
America to take place in Atlantic City
Nlay it, a and 10. The convention
promises to be not only the largest but
al's° the most animated in the history'
of that organization. It is expected
that as a result of this t•tonvention a
111.11111lef 4.f changes will be introduced
which will considerably alter the pres-
ent form of organization. It is also I
expected that at this convention a,
definite program of expansion will be
undertaken.
It is pointed tout by those who are
close to the national totfice that con-
siderable dissatisfaction has been ex-
pressed in certain sections of the •
country with the present form of tor-
ganization. It is mentioned, for ex-
ample, that whereas the city of New
York has 11 large representation on the
national board the southern and west-,
et n parts of the country have a very,
small or no representation at all. An
attempt will be made to adjust this
matter at the forthcoming convention.'
Simultaneously with the convention
of the United Synagogue of America
there will also take place the annual
convention of the \Vtomen's League, :
which is the women's division of the
