on "Israel Zangwill." Next Sunday
evening Feb. 27, a novel debate will
be held. The subject is "Resolved,
That Co-education Be Abolished in
the Colleges of the United States."
This promises to be a very interest-
ing program. Nathan Wise and Sol
Rusenman will uphold the affirmative,
being opposed by Isadore Ganz and
Nathan Shur. Interested visitors are
invited to attend.

Theta Delta Omega.
The last meeting of Theta Delta
Omega Sorority was held on Thurs-
day evening, Feb. 17, at the home of
Miss Ida Nadler. Further plans for
the banquet to be held on March 5
at Webster Hall were discussed and
after the usual business session the
club enjoyed a social time consisting
of bridge and refreshments. An
open meeting was held at the home
of Miss Helen Shere, 508 Englewood
avenue, on Thursday evening, Feb.
24. The next meeting will be at the
home of Miss Sarah Alzofon, 595
East Philadelphia avenue, on Thurs-
day, March 3.

Jericho Temple Lodge.

An open meeting of Jericho Lodge
was held Tuesday evening at Jericho
Temple, at which time the following
program of entertainment was pre-
sented: Ruth Bliss, elocutionist, re-
cited two numbers; Benjamin Dia-
mond rendered a harmonica solo;
Dorothy and Lottie Kroll, entertain-
ers; Estelle Goldfarb sang to the ac-
companiment of her ukele; piano solo
by Miss Shulman. Music for danc-
ing, which followed the program, was
furnished by Jule Jewels Orchestra.

Home Relief Society.

The Home Relief Society will hold
the next meeting Monday afternoon,
Feb. 28, at the home of Mrs. Nathan
Mandeberg, 1683 Hazelwood avenue.
It is very urgent that every member
attend this meeting.

Detroit Friendship Club.

Tau Sigma Epsilon.

The next meeting of the Tau Sig-
ma Epsilon Sorority will he at the
home of Miss Lee Suberoff of Cal-
vert avenue, on Friday, Feb. 25. All
the girls are to bring needlework to
do during the regular session of the
meeting.

held Feb. 17 at Temple Emanuel.
Many important matters relative to
the theater benefit were discussed.
The organization has taken over the
sale of tickets for Feb. 26 and 27
performances at the Majestic Thea-
ter, at which time the Yiddish Play- ,
ers will present the "Golden Bride-
groom," an operetta. The proceeds
of the affair will go to the chalutzim
trade schools of Palestine. Mrs. An-
