BUILDERS'
EXHIBITION
At
February 26 to March 8
Whether you are the lucky winner of the 1827 Ideal Home, or only a
borrower of one of its many new ideas, this masterpiece of Detroit builders
will make rich contributions to your home efficiency.
Every advanced idea for truly modern living makes its first appearance
in the Ideal Home. For instance, the Receivador, the Soper Stove Cabinet,
and innumerable electric inventions.
You must avail yourself of the few weeks that follow to become
acquainted with Ideal Home features. The Builders' Show will award this
grand prize to some lucky winner, and then it becomes PRIVATE
PROPERTY. Come out today.
LOCATION—Out Mack Superhighway, beyond the Seven-Mile Road.
Not quite to Vernier Road. Turn north from Mack, on Lochmoor Boulevard,
one short block. The fine location is in Arthur J. Scully's Eastern Super-
highway Subdivision. Hours for inspection: Sunday, 10 to 9; daily, 1 to 8.
FEATURES BEYOND COUNTING—All masonry and practically fire-
proof—steel joists—tile roof in blended colors—Florida Spanish stucco—a
style centuries old in Europe but new in the U. S.
The Portland Cement plaster, with the colors blended through it, makes
the beautiful interior effect permanent and washable. Its richness never fades.
See What Goes Into a Really Ideal Home
Electric wiring is the last word in convenience and safety. Walls and
roof are insulated with "Balsam wool.' There is a two-car garage, also of
steel and masonry, and with overhead doors. •
The kitchen is a wonderland. It is completely of white tile, for beauty,
light; cleans like washing a dish. Big cupboards, double drain boards, Soper
stove cabinet, breakfast nook, incinerator, Receivador.
Then oil heat and a Holland furnace. The hollow block walls keep the
heat in, too—and keep the house cool in summer.
Just See It. It's Beyond Description. But Work to Win It!
Set the place and dates of the Builders' Show on your calendar. Plan to
come several times and increase your chances to win, as well as see a fine
exhibit of home refinements.
