In a particularly ridiculous position
the Jewish tourists find themselves
who are caught in the net of the tour-
ist agency. They are dragged into
Christian shops; they are fed ham and
bacon and make the rounds of all the
churches in the city. Such Jewish
tourists that are captured with the
Gentiles by the company usually leave
Palestine without having even visited
Tel-Aviv and without having the
conception of the great Jewish recon-
struction work going on in towns and
villages.

It is quite obvious that the tourists'
visit is the living link between' Pales-
tine and the great civilized world. This
eentact affords the best means ter us
to rapture the sympathy of all coun-
tries for our National Homeland, and
to prove to them that we are capable
of building our great future. We,
therefore, must organise, especially
for this purpose, the proper reception
of tourists ■ and endeavor to keep in
contact with them throughout their
stay in Palestine.
Some years ago the Zionist Organ-
iratien started courses for guides and
the Zionist Information Bureau has
engaged Jewish guides who under-
stand how to attract the attention of
the tourists to the new Jewish life in
Palestine. They, at least, give correct
and honest information unlike certain
; Arab guides. It i PI related that an
Arab guide before a large company of
tourists pointed to the Jewish Poly-
