Just Arrived—For the May Silk Sale

New Bordered Printed Crepes
$2.85 a Yard

or

The demand for this smart, all-silk
material was so great that we had to
order many new patterns and re-order
many other favorite ones for the second
week of the sale. This indicates clearly
the type of silks Detroit woman are
buying for their Summer frocks.
And how wise they are! For from
I!, to 2' yards of this material makes
a dress. Think what a saving? The
borders employ large floral or geomet-
ric designs, or small conventional de-
signs—in either case they are simply
exquisite.

All society items and other local notes should be communicated to the office of The
Chronic!. by 5 P. M. Wednesday in order to appear In the currrrr week'. issue. Phone/
Cadillac 1040, Society Editor. Mail notices so as to be received not later that Wednesday.

The Artistic Achievement
of American Industry

The basic quality of the product, enhanced by in-
comparable beauty of decoration, has earned for
LENOX CHINA world-wide recognition as the
,rtistic achievement of American industry.

The decoration illustrated is the "MING," a Lenox
pattern with a Chinese motif. Other well- known
Lenox patterns are "Autumn," "Colonial," "Golden
Gate," "Meadowbrook," "Wide and Narrow Gold
Bands" and others—all carried in Detroit by King's
exclusively.
