"Come On Ruth" at Garrick.

For the first time in the history of
the American stage, a play handles
baseball as the fans and teams know
it, and yet this comedy of love and
youth —"Come On—Ruth!"—makes
the great pastime secondary to the
love affair of Ruth Holden, daughter
of the manager of the famous Hy-
enas of the Sagebrush League, and
Jimmy Buck, pitching ace of this
famous aggregation of ball players.
"Conte on—Ruth!" comes to the Gar-
rick for one week beginning next
Sunday evening. The Detroit Tigers
and the White Sox have accepted in-
vitations to be the guests of the man-
agement next Sunday evening.

Cut Fur Storage Prices.

The time honored price of 3 per
cent for fur storage seems destined
to follow commodity prices down-
ward since Wellman Furs, one of the
very best of Detroit fur stores, has
announced a reduction in price and
will now store your furs the entire
season for only 2 per cent. Their
announcement also states that if
other insurance is carried the rate
will be only 1 per cent.

Retail sales of Dodge Brothers mo-

period in 1925.
Shipments from the factory in the
first three calendar months of 1926
likewise established a new high mark
with a total of 86,351 unite as corn-
pared with 59,378, a gain of 26,975
or 45 per cent over the same period
in 1925.
Shipments of Dodge Brothers mo-
tor cars and Graham Brothers trucks
to satisfy the increasing demand of
foreign dealers during the month of
March reached the highest point ever
recorded in the history of Dodge
Brothers, Inc., with a gain of 50 per
cent over the corresponding month
=_-.
of 1925. This total was 4,460 corn- —
pared with 2,972 in March, 1925.
A substantial increase has been am
made each week in retail sales of
Dodge Brothers motor cars and Gra-
ham Brothers trucks thus far in 1926,
the latest weekly record being estab-
lished for the period ended April 3,
when 9,104 units were sold. This was
a gain of 2,574 or 39 per cent over
the best week in 1925, that ended
April 11.
That the motor driving public ap-
proves of the value of Dodge Broth-
ers motor can and Graham Brothers
trucks is strongly indicated by the
vast sales record made in the lint
quarter of 1926 when weather condi-
tions throughout the United States
were not propitious." declared Thos.
J. Doyle, Dodge Brothers dealer.
