London' Buy Theater.

Israel 3. London, and his brother
William A. London, have just bought
the Ferry Field Theater property at
Grand Riser and West Grand boule-
vard from Phil Obeid man for around
$300,000. Fir Israel J. London, a
real estate operator whose offices are

in the General Motors Building, this
is his first venture in the theatrical
field. His brother, William A. Lon-
don, has met with great success in all
his theatrical ventures. His great
ferte lay in taking hold of theaters
that were a dead loss to their original
owners, and under his skillful per-
ssnal management, they proved to Ins
great successes.

l

Under the combined efforts of the
two brothers the Ferry Field Theater
will be a mecca for all the residents
in the northwest section. They prom-
ise their patrons pictures of the high-
est quality. The atmosphere and serv-
ice will combine favorably with the
highest class theaters in the country
at nominal prices.

Honoring

Mr. Fishman

It is customary for all of the agents of
the Detroit Life Insurance Company to des-
ignate March month as "Fishman Month."

Each year a special campaign is con-
ducted to help accomplish unusual results in
honor of Mr. Fishman's generally recog-
nized kindly helpfulness to all the agents of
the Company.

Last year, his own agency set out to establish A MP.-
licn a Month Agency. They did better than that.

This year, we are very happy to announce, that the
first Million was secured by Mr. Fishman's agency
March 18. The record of the Company, on that same
date, was $1,920,000.
The Fishman agency, always breaking precedents,
has set a new goal for March month, at $2,000,000, and
the Company has set a new goal, at $4,000,000.

This is a larger volume of business than ever has
been written in Michigan by any life insurance agency.
The Detroit Life writes all forms of legal reserve
insurance. It gives adequate service, as thousands of
Chronicle readers willingly attest.

Dr Arthur Rupin, Expert, Tells Why

An Interview by ISRAEL GOLDBERG

lEditor's Note:—We present herewith another notable interview
by the well-known journalist and publicist, Israel Goldberg, this time
with the foremost of all Palestinian experts, Dr. Arthur Ruppin.
The interview is particularly timely because Dr. Ruppin reviews the
colonization progress in Palestine during the last 15 years, a work
which he has directed and from which he resigned at the last con-
gress in order to devote himself to scientific investigations and to the
completion of a book on the Jewish people.)
