The Junior and Senior High
Schools of Temple Beth El observed
the Purist festival by a dinner and
dance given on Sunday night, Feb.
28. At the dinner the Megillah was
read and Purim songs sung. After
the dinner two Purim plays were pre-
sented, written by Morton Cohn and
Josephine H. Stern and Milton Gold-
stein, students of the high school, and
directed by Miss Cyreld Epstein. The
Purim ballade and choral songs were
conducted by Arcady Kaufman. Af-
ter the plays there was an hour of
dancing. The (lance was marked by
special Purim favors and features.
The committee in charge consisted of
Frances Grabow, Irving Wartell,
Sylvia Krell, Morton Cohn, Leona
Payne and Mildred Barris.
