Mrs. Max Dushkin, acting chair-
man for Senior Iladassah, has con-
sented to assume the work begun by
Mrs. Louis Robinson, who has left
the city for an extended period. Mrs.
Dushkin is an active and capable
worker. Tickets for the ball are be-
ing sold by the members of the com-
mittees of both groups and of the
boards of directors.
A meeting of the Senior Hadassah
chapter has been called for Wednes-
day evening, Jan. 27, at 8 o'clock, at
the Shaarey Zedek Synagogue, when
the men of the community will be
guests of honor. Rabbi A. M. Hersh-
man will deliver a lecture and Mrs.
Abe Cooper, soprano, accompanied by
Mrs. Philip Bloomgarden, will give a
musical program. Mrs. N. E. Aron-
stem will speak for five minutes on
current events. A social hour will
follow.

Mordecai Talmud Torah will be held
on Sunday afternoon, Jan. 24, at 3
o'clock at the school, 2415 Wendell

Rabbi Ezekiel Aishiskin will be pres-
