Detroiters will be interested to
know the comment made by the art
critic of the New York Times con-
cerning the work of Theresa Bern-
stein in connection with the Women
Painters' Exhibit which is being held
in New York at the present time. Is
these exhibits one tries in vain to
turn one's back on Mrs. Bernstin's
work hoping to avoid always men-
tioning the same name; but it is be-
fore her work one stays longest and
enjoys oneself most." It will be
remembered that Theresa Bernstein
has been a regular contributor to the
annual art exhibits that have been
held in this city under the auspices
of the educational department of the
United Jewish Charities.
