MOSCOW.-(J. T. A.) - A pre-
liminary agreement with regard to
Jewish colonization work in Soviet
Russia was concluded here between
the Ica, the Jewish Colonization As-
sociation, and the Comzet, the gov-
ernmental department for Jewish
colonization work.
The agreement has been drafted
along lines similar to those of the
Agro-Joint, the agency in Soviet Rus-
sia of the American Jewish Joint Dis-
tribution Committee.
According to the agreement, the
Jewish colonization Association has
obligated itself to invest in Jewish
colonization work in Russia the sum
of $100,000 for the first year. The
sums which are to be invested in the
following years, as well as the region
where the Ica activities are to be
conducted, will be determined later.
