Zeirei Zion.

The Zeirei Zion held its last meet-
ing on Tuesday evening, Sept. 29, at
the Y. W. 11. A., 89 Rowena street.
Discussion on the "Fourteenth Zionist
Congress" was continued. A social
program followed, when David Ro-
senberg was the leading entertainer.
Mr. Rosenberg left for Minneapolis,
Minn., on Wednesday to reside.
Miss Gussie Gleeckman, secretary
of the club, reported in last week's
issue of The Chronicle that Joseph
Chaggi stated that, in his opinion,
persons now contributing to the Ke-
ren Ilayesod would withdraw their as-
sistance because the budget of the
Mizrachi was accepted at the con-
gress. Miss Gleeckman wishes to cor-
rect the remark to say that Mr. Chag-
gi merely disagreed with the budget.
At the next meeting election 'of
officers will take place. All members
are urged to attend.

An important meeting of the Kar-
ma Klub will be held at the home of
Harry Thomas, '7555 Cameron ave-
nue, on Tuesday evening, Oct. 6,
when plans for a Hallowe'en dance
at Jericho Temple on Oct. 25 will be
discussed. Messrs. Welt and Pike are

Miss Stella Briskman was hostess
at the last meeting of the L'Allegro
Girls Club at her home on Atkinson

meeting of the Orean Girls Club on
