The Colors of Birdland
Offer Untold Opportunities

As an entertainment feature for
the Jewish Mothers Clubs' summer
camp at Milford, Mich., Miss Blume
Levin took several members of clubs
under her direction to Milford last
Sunday ,where they presented a pro-
gram. A playlet, "The Child in the
Home," was acted by Edith Weiss,
Sara Newfield, Anna Tachna, Goldie
Weinstein and Rose Rappaport. Mil-
dred Kramer played a violin solo in
addition to rendering several dra-
matic selections. The clubs are part
of the United Jewish Institute edu-
cational department. Miss Mary Cap-
lan, head of the department, is also
in charge of the camp, at which 30
mothers and children are at present
spending their vacations.
