That Russian-born immigrants who are at present in Poland and are in
possession of visas issued to them as far back as two years ago will be the
first on the list to receive from the American consul visas on the new quota
which opens July 1, 1925, was made known when the American consul in
Warsaw ordered all such Russian-born immigrants to be registered. The
registration of the Russian-born immigrants, of whom the majority are
1Jews, will continue throughout the month of May under the auspices of the
Jewish Immigration Committee of Poland. •
