The "Minute Man"
Supposing your gas range got out c!
order and you needed it badly.
You probably haven't ever had that
experience and we hope you won't.
But if you did it wouldn't he as had u
you imagine. The "minute man" is
ready for just such emergencies.
Even though service calls are com•
paratively few, the Detroit City Gas
Company provides ample means to
handle every emergency. Detroit is
divided into five districts in which are
"minute men," ready for repair orders,
meter changes, adjustments or service
calls of any kind. Whenever these
"minute men" go out on an order they
phone in as soon as the job is coma
pleted so as to he in touch with the
office of the Gas Company at all times.
The Detroit City Gas Company is
doing everything within its power to
give Detroiter, efficient service. To
grasp some idea of what has been done
for gas users regardless of the cost. In
the service department alone there is
now a personnel of over 150 men,
maintaining an equipment of over 90
automobiles. This is an increase of
50 men and over 39 cars within the
past two years.
