too strongly.
The fabrics are of exquisite texture,
suede finished and including the
beautiful Rodier Kasha.
There has been a sudden demand
for coats with long-haired trimmings
—and a great many of these have wide
borders and cull's of Russian kit fox,
chapchilla and natural wolf.
The styles are the very newest of
the late winter season, many of them
resembling first spring coats now being
shown.
The colors feature the new reds, in
shades of cinnabar, oxblood and cran-
berry. The new browns, Lebanon
green, copper and black.
JUDGE GORDON ORATOR
FOR BICUR CHOLEM
Judge Arthur E. Gordon, who has
been justice of peace in Detroit for
a number of years, will address the
members of the Bicur Cholem Society
at a meeting to be held Thursday
evening, Dec. 1, at 8 o'clock, at their
new meeting place, the auditorium of
Emanuel Synagogue, Taylor and Wil-
son avenues. Judge Gordon, who has
had much experience in the handling
of foreign cases, has chosen as his
topic "Some Methods of Benefiting
the Masses."
Following the address Miss Ger-
trude Sarnoff will render several
piano selections and Miss Addins
Cohen will play a banjo solo.
Altogether these are coats of such real smart-
ness and beauty that women who admire dis-
tinctive garments are delighted with them; yet
they are being sold at a large saving.
