A group of fourteen young people,
aged 14 to 20, met at the home of
Mr. and Mrs. Reuben Levine last
Friday night to discuss plan: for or-
ganizing a young people's auxiliary
to the Mt. Sinai Synagogue. Pro-
grams for future meetings were sug-
gestdII. A study of the Bible was
begun nod it was decided that the club
would hold Friday night services at
its meetings until the synagogue is
completed. This is the first time that
such a group has been organized and
all the members are showing much en-
thusiasm for the study of Judaism.

OBITUARY
Mrs. Jacob M. Sarasohn.
The death of Mrs. Jacob M. Sara-
sohn, wife of Jacob M. Sarasohn of
885 Siontealm street, occurred Thurs-
day. Nov. 13. Mrs. Sarasohn was born
in Russia 75 years ago andcame to
this country about 40 years ago. She
lived in Detroit nearly 30 years. The
funeral took place Friday. Nov. 14,
from the residence of her daughter,
Mrs. Minnie Shetzer, 2071 Longfel-
low avenue. Rabbi A. M. Hershman
officiated. Interment was in Clover-
hill Cemetery.
Mrs. Sarasohn is survived by Or
husband, two sons, Abraham II. and
Samuel Sarasohn; three daughters.
Mrs. Rachel Burnstine, Mrs. Minnie
Shetzer and Mrs. Sara Bernstein; 19
grandchildren and five great grand-
children, all of Detroit.
She was a member of Congrega-
tions Mogen Abraham and Beth Jacob
and actively interested in numerous
charitable organizations, local and
national.
