CHILDRENS' CLINIC

The North End Community Clinic, which is conducted by the Fresh
Society and affiliated with the Detroit Community Union, has filled a d e fi-
nite need in the community, as evident•ed by the steady increase in clinic
attendance. Ten hundred and fifty patients were treated in June, 1,252 in
July, 1,505 in August and 1,500 in September. October figures thus far
indicate an even larger number of patients. These figures. include the at•
tendance at the general morning clinics and the dental and evening venereal
clinics. The clinic rooms are also used. by the Department of Ilealri for

1891 ; practiced law eight years ill Superior, Wis.; six years Villaga
Attorney at Laurium, Nlich. Had large general practice in the
Upper Peninsula. Had wide experience as it trial lawyer. Success-
fully' represented the defendant in many notable criminal cases. Was
elected Circuit Judge in the Twelfth Judicial Circuit on the Demo-
cratic ticket in f91 I. This circuit is overwhelmingly Republican.
Served ten years on the bench. Resigned in May, 1922, to enter

the practice of law in Detroit.
