The Herz! Judaeans won the Young
Judaean championship Sunday, Sept.
21, defeating the Sons of Judaea by
the score of 9 to 7. The Judaeans
will be presented with a silver cup,
the second in one term, the first hav-
ing been won at the track meet at
Belle Isle during the summer. The
game was featured by the splendid
pitching of William Schwartz of the
Herzl Club, who was sparing in his
distribution of hits.
The Herzl .Judaeans developed much
strength in the short span of six
months. When the club first was or-
ganized it had only eight members,I
but it now consists of 20 ardent Young',
Judaeans.
