Some of the best known drivers in
the middle west will display their,
talent on dirt at the Devonshire track
in Windsor on Labor Day. The event
will be the most spectacular of the
season. Racing fans will recognize,
the majority of the entrants, who are
among the best known in the middle'
west.
Among the pilots will be Howard
Taylor, holder of Michigan's 1923,
championship; Sam Ross, last year's
runner-up; Alvin Ross, holder of
1.ansing and Saginaw track records,
and others, aggregating an even
dozen.
Drivers will start at the crack of
the gun at 1:30, circling the Devon-
shire one-mile dirt track for 100 laps.
