Four- teen persons were on the porch when the pillars supporting it gave way. Four escaped uninjured, while 10 were carried down and received in- juries that required treatment at a hospital. The building is more than 100! years old and formerly was known as the Pickle mansion. A year ago it was purchased by the Shield of David Society as an orphanage for Kadimah Girls.
