FIFTIETH MEETING HELD BY Y. NI. LI. A. NEW YORK (J. T. A.)—The Young Men's Hebrew Association, Lexington avenue and Ninety-Second street, has held its fiftieth annual meeting, when Judge Irving Lehman of the New York State Court of Ap- peals, its president, also president of the National Jewish Welfare Board, reported on the activities of the past year. Judge Lehman announced that the golden jubilee of the Y. M. H. This is an achievement far beyond the original expectations of the campaign committee, which set $200,000 as the quota. The campaign opened with a dinner on Jan. 24, on which occasion Dr. Cy- rus Adler of the executive council of the Jewish Welfare Board, made a stirring address which gave decided stimulus to the campaign. Mr. Felix Fuld, also a member of the council and president of the New Jersey Fed- eration of YM and YWHAs, was • most encouraging factor in the cam- paign and contributed $5,000 besides $1,000 in behalf of Mrs. Fuld. The Atlantic City Jewish commun- ity was aroused to the great need of a center through a study of the situ- ation made by the Jewish Welfare Board, which pointed out that the Y. M. H. A. and the Y.
