ANY ridiculous claims are made by representatives of
reproducing pianos regarding artists who make rec-
ords. There are so many wonderful pianists both

here and abroad whose names cannot even be pronounced
and who have never been exploited, that the field of artists
is practically unlimited. Many pianists make application to
play for the Ampico who cannot even be considered, due to
the number of master records in preparation now that will
not be released for some time. It suffices to say, therefore,
that Ampico artists are selected with the most exacting di..
crimination, the paramount idea being to obtain • wide
variety of music played by artists best adapted for a par-
ticular style of music.
Incidentally, the tremendous increase in Ampico sales dur-
ing the past two years has increased production in the record
factory to such an extent that Ampico recordings have been
reduced 50 per cent in price. The following list of artists
record for the Ampico along with 38 others who have never
recorded for any other reproducing piano either here or
abroad. Over two hundred pianists have made Ampico

records.

of roses ranging in color to harmon-

of silver tissue in their hair.
The bridal party also included
three flower girls who walked in front
of the bride and threw rose petals in
her path. They were the Misses Julia
Beckon, Odele Davis and Betty Hal-
perin, who wore charming frocks of
yellow chiffon with wreaths of silver
leaves in their hair. Little Robert
Halperin performed the duties of ring
bearer and carried the ring on a
white satin pillow. Mr. Halperin was
assisted by Jack Greenberg of Wind-

and Alvin Schreiber of Detroit and
l'ercy Hollowik and Eugene Allswang
of Chicago.
Immediately following the recep-

Mr. and Mrs. Ilalperin left for an ex-

at home at the Clayton Apartment on
