Its up to you

HE KEREN HAYESOD is rebuilding Palestine.
I The money so generously contributed by loyal
Jews is making possible the turning of wasted lands
into profitable farming lands, and, in time, with the
never-failing aid of the Keren Hayesod, Palestine will
gradually assume the aspects of a real homeland—a
long-desired Jewish homeland.

Our Jewish brethren in Europe, who, for centuries.
have been wandering aimlessly and hopelessly, are
/
flocking to Palestine. There, on the farms, they will
.
free themselves of the chains of poverty and hunger,
and will build their bodies and minds in the great out-
of-doors.

The Jewish children will work and study and grow
strong; and in years to come, Palestine will grow to be
the home of able-bodied Jewish men and women.

Agriculture must be encouraged. The Jews who
are settling in Palestine have no money—in fact, noth- /
ing but the willingness and anxiety to work hard and
continue the transforming of heretofore valueless lands /
into productive soil. Implements are needed—schools
and hospitals are needed—food is needed to keep the
pioneers of Palestine alive until they can become more
firmly established.

The Keren Hayesod calls on every Detroit Jew
again this year to help carry on the wonderful work
of reorganizing Palestine. On Monday, Jan. 28th, the
Keren Hayesod drive for $150,000 will start! Be pre-
pared to give the largest contribution you can to the
worker who calls on you! We must meet this quota!
It is our duty! Let us even pass it if we can!

How proud you will feel in later years to think that
your contributions have aided in making Palestine a
great Jewish homeland! And it will be—if the splendid
work now going on in Palestine can be continued.

Give to the Keren Hayesod again this year—give
all you possibly can. Be loyal to our brethren in Eu-
rope, if you want them to share in your prosperity and
happiness.

Remember—IT'S UP TO YOU!
