"And I will bring back the captivity of
my people Israel, and they shall build the
wasted cities, and dwell therein; and they
shall plant vineyards, and drink their wine;
and they shall lay out gardens, and eat
their fruit. And I will plant them upon
their own soil, and they shall not be pull-
ed up any more out of their land which
I have given unto them, saith the Lord
thy God." -, (A _mos, !X; 14-15)

ND it is the loyal and honorable duty of every
prosperous Jew in Detroit to help bring hap-
piness and prosperity to the stricken, starved and
homeless Jewish race of Europe --- a race that for
centuries has not known or experienced any of
the real joys of living; joys that are justly theirs.

The thousands upon thousands of Jews in Europewho have
been mercilessly drifting on the waters of fate MUST see the
light of life---and they WILL, if you, as a loyal brother of Israel
will help.

We are appealing to you to contribute freely and sympathetically to the
reconstruction of Palestine; it is up to you to make Palestine the Per-
manent home of Israel; where modern schools will make the children of
today strong, healthy, clear-minded men and women of tomorrow; where
endless prosperity will enable the fathers and mothers of today to spend
the remainder of their lives in peaceful content; where work will be plen-
tiful, and life will be worth living. And it is only through the merciful
aid of the Jews in America that they can have that.

Only 2 per cent of the number of Jews that were in America in 1890 are
now allowed admittance. What of the others, thousands of whom have
been waiting, almost in vain, to come? There is only one salvation—
Palestine!
Plan right now to give all you can for the splendid cause of the Keren
Hayesod! Join the ranks of loyal, sympathetic Jews who will do all in
their power to make Palestine "an America" for the Jews of Europe. It
is up to you!
