Ukrainian National Chorus
Scores Another Hit.

The Ukrainian National Chorus, on
the third return concert in Detroit,
again drew a large audience last Mon-
day evening. The chorus is rightly
called a "human symphony." The
I harmony of the singers can hardly be
excelled and the ability of Alexander
Koshetz as a director is worthy of
highest praise. Ewssei Beloussoff,
Russian cellist, played a number of
solos, accompanied on the piano by M.
Nicholas Stemhei.

VIENNA (J. T. A.)—The Univer-
sity of Vienna closed a few weeks ago
because of anti-Semitic disturbances,
reopened Wednesday by order of the
academic senate. Hope is expressed
by the authorities that no disorders
such as necessitated the repeated shut-
ting down of the university will mark
its reopening. Banners and colors of
the university clubs have been banned
and members of militant anti-Semitic
clubs will not be admitted on the
i campus.
