Plans for participation in the Chan-
ukah celebration of the junior and in-
termediate clubs were discussed at the
last meeting of the l'irchai Zion, held
at the home of Anna Nusbaum on
Hancock avenue. The club will also
give a Chanuka party for the mem-
bers.

At the meeting held Tuesday even-
ing in the North End Community
Clinic, Morris Waxman, newly elect-
ed president, appoited the following
committee chairmen: Jacob Kaifu-

Margolia, sports; A. Must, member.
ship.
The following were elected mem-
bers of the Senior Council: Morris
Waxman, Jacob Kadushin and Abe
Must.
The program of the evening con-
sisted of a discussion of current top.
ics, including the Zangwill address
delivered before the American Jew-
ish Congress.
Next Tuesday evening, there will
be a debate on the question whether
Zangwil was justified in his attack on
the Zionist leaders. Zangwill's views
will be upheld by Arthur Rabinowitz
and Abe Lewis. Nathan Margolis
and Jacob Kadushin will oppose their
views.

ptIAST-SIDE,

ALL AROUND THE TOWN"

HE words of the old popular song
quoted above just about tell the
Egq story of ROBINSON-COHEN
furniture.
We have stores on the east side and
the west side-but you will find our
furniture "all around the town."

Starting with our big Main Store (High at
Hastings) our business developed so rapidly
that we found it necessary to open three big
branches on the west side of Detroit. But
our business is by no means limited to the
neighborhoods where our stores are located.
On practically every street in the city, there
are Robinson-Cohen customers.

Many people even come from away outside of
the city to buy "America's Finest Furniture" at
prices which we believe save them about 25%.
People from Pontiac, Flint, Redford, Birmingham,
Royal Oak, Wyandotte, Northville, Plymouth,
Owosso, Hillsdale, Lapeer and any number of
towns buy their furniture at one or the other of our
stores.

There are just three big reasons why our busi-
ness has grown so rapidly. 1. Because we sell the
finest furniture that is made in America. 2. Be-
cause we guarantee actual savings. 3. Because
the STANDARD PLAN allows a year or more to
pay without interest charges.
