WELFARE ORGANIZATION

At a meeting of the European Jew-
ish Women's Welfare Organization
held Tuesday evening, Aug. 14, at the
Mogen Abraham Synagogue, orphans
who were brought over to this coun-
try through the aid of the organiza-
tion were among the visitors. They
described their hardships abroad and

told pathetic stories of their former
homes.
Plans are being completed by the
organization for a tag day to be held
in the near future.
The organization announces that
J. Ginsberg of East Hancock avenue
will be the authorized collector for
the organization. All courtesies shown
the collector will be appreciated by

the society.
Members of the board of directors
are urged to attend the next meeting,
which will be held at the home of Mrs.
Joseph Ratkofsky of 258 Garfield
avenue on Saturday evening.
