The Road To Failure
Is Easy---

That's why so many travel it.
Only the man with fighting blood
in his veins chooses the more dif-
ficult path to success.

He expects to sacrifice self-en-
tertainment for self-education,
knowing that when he has trav-
eled the road to success he will
have both the money and leisure
to enjoy life to its fullest.

You can have success—can buy such real en-
joyment for tomorrow if you are willing to pay
the price of today's needless extravagance and
doubtful pleasures for it.

Success is the cheapest thing in the world the
young man can buy—but he doesn't realize it.

PROPOSAL TO BAR
JEWS FROM PUBLIC
OFFICES DEFEATED

LONDON.—The position of the Jew
in England Was both defended and as-
sailed at the annual conference of the
"Constitutional Moement," which met
here Saturday.
The conference adopted a proposal
sponsored by one of its delegates, Cap-
tain Wilson, which called upon the
Parliament to pass a law barring all
those who were not British for at least
three generations hack from holding
public office in England, whether in
the state or municipality.
In speaking of his proposal, Wilson
declared that as regards the Jews,
they were always "aliens" and should
never be permitted to hold office. This
statement of Wilson was attacked by
other delegates, who declared that the
Jews were as good British subjects as
those of any of the other elements of
the population.
The conference finally settled the
matter by adopting an addendum to
the resolution, declaring it their belief
that Jew's whose families have been
in Britain for three generations back
should also be entitled to hold public
office.
