YOUNG JUDAEA PLANNING
NEW YEAR'S ACTIVITIES

Plans are under way in local Young
Judaea for a series of activities in the ,
ranks that will attract the old us
well as the young.
The new administration, with Solo.
mon Levin as president, is planning
to arrange for monthly entertain-
ments that are to be given in various
sections of the city for the entire
community. There is also to be a
series of debates and plays.
The progress shown in the ranks
during the past year is expected to
be excelled this year, in that a num-1
bee of new leaders are to be recruited I
from the ranks of former Young Ju-
daeans. It is expected that at least
10 more new clubs will he organized
this year.

B'nos Rachel.

The 11'nes Rachel Saturday even-
ing celebrated the club's first anni-
versary at the home of Eva Yaker,
306 Theodore street. An interesting
program included the history of the'
club by Rose Block, a prophecy and
Hebrew recitation by Henrietta Kat-
zer.
Leaders who addressed the club, in-
cluding Miss Lattie Cantzevitz, the
club leader, were Miss Mary Caplan
and Samuel Zellman. Reuben Cohen
represented the Knights of Judaea
and delivered a few brief congratula-
tory remarks on behalf of his club.
Gamey, refreshments and dancing fol-
lowed the program.
