How Should a Small Apart-
Ment Be Furnished
To Be Comfortable as Well as Attractive?
And we might add without a large expen-
diture. We have several suggestions to of-
fer hi reply to this question and if you will
come in to see us we shall be glad to talk
things over with you and give you an approx-
imate estimate of the cost of furnishing the
kind of apartment you want. We specialize
in bedroom, dining-room and living-room
furniture up to $600 a suite.
F
Delightful in the extreme was the
moonlight excursion given under the
auspice(' of the Young People's Club
of Temple Beth Ft on Monday even-
ing, when a capacity crowd attended
this affair, which was one of the most
charming and successful ever given
by this organization. Long before
the hour set for the departure of the
steamer Columbia, chartered for this
occasion, the steady stream of people
who boarded the boat for a "Trip to
the Moon" were more than amply re.
paid by the interesting entertainment
that was provided. Featuring the
trip were the novelty dances to the
accompaniment of syncopated melt).
(lies and the tuneful rollicking songs
that was written by Miss Irene Ro-
senerg and Bernard Wohl, active
members of the club, and which was
sung by Evelyn Finsterwald Klein-
man. This affair is a forerunner of
many social functions that are in the
formative period for next season's ac-
tivities. Harvey L. Vehon is the
newly elected president of the so-
ciety.
The Redford Country Club, which
has been particularly gay the past
weeks, in which dinner dances and
other affairs of a delightful nature
held sway, was the scene of an ex-
ceedingly beautiful party on Thurs-
day evening, at which Mr. and Mrs.
Max May were hosts, honoring their
nephews, Alan and Jay Louis Gump,
of Johnson City, Tenn., who were
their guests for several days during
the week.

The bride was very attractive in a
white robe of pearls and crystals over
crepe romine. Her veil was fash-
ioned coronet of duchess lace and the
flowing profusion of tulle was caught
in place by a gorgeous 'cluster of or-
ange blossoms. She carried a shower
bouquet of white orchids, roses and
valley lilies. Miss Mazer was attired
in a gown of gold lace over the gold
cloth and carried ophelia roses.
After the ceremony a dinner was
served in the Henry VII room. A re-
ception was held in the main ballroom
where the couple received their many
friends.
