KNIGHTS WIN DEBATE;
DEFEAT TIKVAS ZION

best debate in the series being
held between senior Young Judaea •
clubs here was the one of Sunday
afternoon, at the Wilkins street Tal- I
Torah, between the Knights of
Judaea and the Tikvas Zion. The
question was "Resolved, that Anti-
Semitism has in the main benefited
the Jewish people." The Knights, up-
holding the affirmative, were awarded
the decision by the judges, Hyman
Tigel, Esther Jacobson, and SAM Gold,
who deliberated for close to an hour.
In announcing the decision, Mr. Tigel ,
stated that the winners' advantage

The winners' team consisted of Sam !
Firestone, Abe Torgow and Julius
Ealiatzky. The team of the Tikvas
Zion consisted of Mollie Chabensky,'
Eva ('roll and Naomi liuchhalter.
Ilerzl Shur acted as chairman..
Sunday's result places the Knights I
second in the list of local clubs for',
the debating championship. The Buds
of Judaea are leading. The Tikvas
Zion, Forget-Me-Nets of Zion and the 'I
Maccabees fa Judaea are tied for third
