A CALL TO ALL JEWRY
v.
I have had a fair opportunity to observe
Jerusalem and the colonies. The latter
touched me profoundly for their fine spirit
of idealistic enthusiasm and helpfulness. I
find in them promise of inestimable good.
My resultant conviction is that American
Jewry must back these endeavors spiritually
and materially. What I would say with re-
gard to what I beheld in Palestine, espe-
cially under the directive influence of the
Keren Hayesod, is that the confirmation of
England's cession of Palestine to the Jews
is a call to all Jewry no matter what they
believe with regard to what is called
Zionism.

CALLS KEREN HAYESOD MOST
IMPORTANT FOR HOLY LAND
In the three domains of industry, educa-
tion and religion our people may be able to
offer to the world a stimulating example of
Jewish life in the ancient land of Israel. The
most important of the beneficent agencies
which are aiding the Holy Land, because the
largest both in supporters and funds, is the
Keren Hayesod, an international Jewish or-
ganization. So many of the activities re-
referred to are financed by it, thus further-
ing the welfare of the new settlers. It de-
serves the generous support of all Jews apart
from their views on Zionism.
