You are asked to contribute as your
share for the rebuilding of Palestine the
small sum of $150,000. The Keren Haye-
sod, which is the Foundation Fund for the
redemption of our ancient homeland, comes
to you with a plea for this amount which
should be obtained without any -difficulty
from this wealthy Jewish community.

The rebuilding of Palestine as the Nation al Homeland of
the Jewish People marks the greatest romance in the history
of the world. The last act in the historic drama of Israel's
rebirth is ready for the curtain. The gates of Palestine are no
longer barred from within. The key is in the hands of the
Jewish People.

The League of Nations has decreed that
Palestine is to Become the National Home-
land of the Jew.
The United States Government through the
the unanimous action of the United States
Senate and the House of Representatives and
with the approval of President Warren G.
Harding, on September 21, 1922, endorsed
the Jewish Homeland.

in progress. Thousands of Jews are streaming into Palestine.
Many more thousands are ready to follow. Colonies and
towns are being built. Shops and factories, fields and roads
are alive with Jewish labor. Schools and hospitals care for
the soul and body of the people. A new Jewish life is grow-
ing up in the old Jewish land.

The hour has come when Jewry must respond to the
historic call by giving liberally that the gates of Palestine
may remain opened to the thousands of brave men and
women pioneers whose life ideal is that of the entire people

It is for Jewry to decide whether the gates of Palestine are,
to their lasting dishonor, to remain unopened or whether they
are to welcome in the multitudes that are expectantly await-
ing the hour of redemption.
